Introduction

This short lesson will give instruction on how to use the Web mail interface included with your Computer King email account.

Web mail interface using (HyperText Transport Protocol Secure) https Apache web server allowing for encrypted access to browse, send and receive email from any computer that has internet access.

Prerequisites

Some basic computer skills and some familiarization with the Windows operating system is all that is necessary.

Objectives

- Locate the Shortcut for Internet Explorer
- Enter the Uniform Resource Locator or url necessary to access Web mail interface
- Login to your account using the Web mail interface

Retrieving your email using the Web mail interface

Your new email account is accessible using an https compliant browser such as Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, or Mozilla. Type the following line into your browsers address bar or click on the link below.

https://mail.computerking.ca

This page can also be reached through the compuerking.ca url. Once you have arrived at the page using any of the fore mentioned methods a security alert will appear. This is to inform you that this site is secure just select yes as illustrated below. Enter your username and password supplied by Computer King into the required fields of the Web mail interface.
